I thought someday that it would stop…
this heap of joy would have a top…
“Oh, no,” they said, my transplant friends,
“it never stops, it never ends!!”
The joy of life is set ablaze
When one is left with so few days
In answer to my SOS
Thank God my donor’s mom said yes.
Like being there the day you’re born
A frosty night or sunny morn
That baby’s joy with life BRAND NEW.
To me, is what “TRANSPLANT” can do!!
